EDUCATION

Nicole received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio and went on to receive her Master’s degree in Counseling, also from Kent State University. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with the ability to supervise clinicians seeking their independent license.

TRAINING

Nicole received her training working with a variety of adult populations, specializing in eating disorders in mental health organizations. She has extensive training in Motivational Interviewing and has utilized this approach in her work with dually-diagnosed (mental health and drug/alcohol) individuals. Through her work as a supervisor of intensive treatment teams for various agencies, Nicole has worked closely with several consultants from The Center for Evidence Based Practices out of Case Western University, focusing mainly on Assertive Community Treatment and Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment over the past 10 years.

Nicole has experience working with adolescents and adults with a variety of concerns from a cognitive-behavioral approach. She strongly believes in meeting the individual where they’re at and assisting them in meeting their goals.
