Drew Adkins LISW-S


Drew received her M.S.W in Clinical Social Work at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, after receiving her B.S. in both Addictions Counseling and Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana. Drew is an Independently Licensed Social Worker, certified by the state of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. Through her various career experiences, she has taken part in training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, behavior modification techniques, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma Focused assessment and therapy approaches such as NMT.


Drew has experience in multiple unique therapeutic roles during her vocational journey that have impacted her desire to serve, guide and enable other to grow using their own strengths and motivation. Some of these rolls include work as a residential adolescent therapist, out-patient therapy for children and adolescents and inpatient psychiatric care. Drew has spent time in the mission field before becoming a social worker, and from this life experience gained great perspective on the life of others and the importance of empathy in practice as a therapist. As a therapist in an ever changing world and society, Drew strives to empower people, build on their strengths, enable those she works with to live their best life possible and desires to do all of these things to the best of her given ability.
