Education

Jacinda Andrews, LPC, NCC received her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and is currently completing her Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy at Amridge University. Jacinda is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) certified by National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Ohio certified by the state of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. Jacinda is currently obtaining supervision to become independently licensed.

Jacinda has experience working in community mental health settings with adults, children, adolescents, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds.

Approach to Practice

Jacinda creates a safe and supportive environment that is built on mutual trust and respect where clients voices are heard and change happens collaboratively. She practices with cultural sensitivity incorporating clients backgrounds, values, and belief systems into therapy. Jacinda uses an integrative approach to counseling to meet her clients individualized needs that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Psycho-education interventions.
