Jade received her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Columbus College of Arts & Design and her Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy and Art Therapy from Phillips Graduate Institute in Los Angeles, California.


Jade is a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who received her training at Hathaway-Sycamores Child & Family Services in Los Angeles, California. There she provided individual, family, and group therapy for at-risk youth and their families. She facilitated both school-based and intensive home-based services and was able to incorporate the use of Art Therapy when working with her clients. She also provided community-based mental health treatment for youth, teens, adults, and families at Youth Advocate Services in Columbus, Ohio. There she received experience working with a diverse population and a wide range of mental and behavioral health issues.


Jade is passionate about working with children, teens, adults, and families that are dealing with a wide range of issues, including family conflicts, relational distress, trauma and abuse, depression, anxiety, and self-esteem issues just to name a few. She is experienced in working with diverse populations and backgrounds and provides culturally relevant therapy to individuals and families. She believes therapy is a partnership where individuals are assisted in developing their own skills and competencies to help achieve their goals. Jade works collaboratively and uses a strength-based approach to therapy in addressing life’s challenges. She is also skilled at using Art Therapy as a creative process to help improve an individual’s physical, mental, and emotional well-being. She believes art can be an effective tool in working through and resolving issues, developing ways to manage feelings and behaviors, reducing stress, and improving self-esteem and self-awareness in a non-threatening way.
