Katherine’s Experience
Katherine is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor at Live Wellness Center. She received her Master of Science Degree in Social Agency Counseling from the University of Dayton, Dayton, Ohio 1996, completed Clinical Counseling coursework at Ashland Seminary, Ashland Ohio 1998. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Cedarville University 1987. Katherine practiced as a Licensed Practical Nurse from 1977-1987 then a Registered Nurse from 1987 caring for Pediatric, Adolescent and Adult patients during her Nursing career. Since obtaining her Master’s Degree in Counseling in 1996 she continues providing mental healthcare for young children, adolescents, adults & seniors.
Katherine currently provides mental health care in a private practice setting for children, adults and teens with Depression, Anxiety, Adjustment issues, PTSD, ADHD, for individuals who are high functioning and facing challenges on the Autism Spectrum, for Adoption related issues of child, adolescent and adult Adoptees, Birth & Adoptive Parents and Kinship Caregivers, for children, adolescent and adult individuals with chronic or life limiting medical diagnosis, for those who are Caregivers and for first responders (Police, Fire, EMS, Paramedic, Nurses, Disaster Volunteers and Chaplains), for returning Missionaries who have provided ministry and Volunteers who have provided assistance in communities affected by extremes such as poverty, conflict, war or humanitarian crisis.
