Kris Snyder MFT, MBA, CPT, received his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Degree from West Liberty State College (WV), a Master’s of Business Administration from Ohio Dominican University, and a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University. Kris is a licensed Marriage and Family therapist in the state of Ohio certified by the state of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board.

Kris has worked in several roles in the service field. His experiences range from providing various services to families with at risk youth in the community, juvenile treatment facilities and child protective services. Kris has also gained valuable experience co-facilitating intense outpatient drug treatment groups and male domestic violence groups. Kris has also gained valuable experience serving others as a claims specialist in the insurance industry and through his extensive background in the health and fitness field where he holds several certifications from leading organizations in the field. He has also completed Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1 training.


Kris is a culturally competent practitioner with a strong sensitivity to a diverse population he serves. He uses an integrative approach that is predominately solution focused and strengths based in his work with his clients. Kris is also a proponent of psycho-education that allows the client to better understand their area of concern as they work towards achieving their goals. Kris currently receiving supervision as he is pursuing his independent licensure.
