Leah received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH and her Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary in Ashland, OH.
Leah is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who received her training at Smetzer Counseling Center in Ashland, OH where she gained experience working with individuals, groups, and families with varied issues. Leah has also provided community mental health based treatment for foster youth and their families at Youth Advocate Services in Columbus, OH.
Leah is very passionate about working alongside teens, adults, and families to help them discover their own strengths and bring about positive change. She works to empower individuals and treat them with respect as they participate in the counseling process. She counsels from a client centered, cognitive behavioral approach, and uses her extensive training to come alongside the client as they strive towards personal wholeness.
