Lisa Gilchrist LPC


Lisa received her M.A. in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, while receiving her B.S. in Elementary Education from Messiah College in Grantham, Pennsylvania. Lisa is a Licensed Professional Counselor, certified by the state of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. Through her internship, she received training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Narrative Therapy from a local private practice, providing counseling to various populations in both English and Spanish to children, adolescents, and adults.


Lisa has experienced several unique and challenging work opportunities and experiences that have contributed to her passion to serve and support others as they find strength and assurance in their identity and purpose. Some of the opportunities range from teaching pre-school aged children in a day-care setting and teaching English as a Second Language, all the way to providing Senior Care in a home setting, allowing the client to receive the support necessary for improved levels of daily functioning. She has also had several opportunities to live and serve abroad, therein providing an enriched perspective regarding multi-cultural experiences, with special attention and keen interest in Spanish-Speaking populations. With her personal and professional background, Lisa desires to inspire, educate, and help build strength in her clients allowing them the opportunity to receive courage, skills, timing, compassion, and healing needed to walk through the journey of this life.
