Marietta earned her Doctor of Nursing from Case Western Reserve University and specialized in nurse-midwifery. She was a certified nurse-midwife for 23 years and CEO of New Life Nurse-Midwifery Care in Marysville, Ohio, for two decades. Marietta is married with four adult children, whom she homeschooled from K-12. She later earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and became a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She tailors her approach to the individual and utilizes a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, existential therapy, person centered therapy, narrative therapy, and Christian/Biblical counseling accordingly. Marietta enjoys working with adults to overcome issues involving anxiety, depression, grief/loss, life transitions, trauma, prenatal and/or postpartum anxiety/depression, boundaries, and self-esteem. She is also Symbis certified for pre-marital counseling.
