Merrianna Milroy LPC

Merrianna received her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Cleveland State University along with a Master’s degree in Human Services Counseling Cognate: Crisis Response and Trauma from Liberty University and a Master’s degree in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from Cleveland State University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Merrianna has specialized training working with adolescents and adults who have experienced trauma and is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a treatment that is empirically supported in treating trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and is recognized as the number one treatment protocol.

Merrianna worked with children and adolescents in a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) providing group therapy. She also received training and experience working with adults and adolescents at a crisis center providing individual therapy and trauma informed group therapy for survivors of sexual assault and abuse. Merrianna also has training working with individuals in outpatient community mental health using a variety of evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) designed to meet specific individual needs in the following areas:
