Heart for Counseling

It’s such a gift to be given the space and the opportunity to come alongside my clients as they navigate hard times and to support them as they walk through the various challenges of life. God has given me a heart for helping others and I don’t take that role lightly. It’s important for me to create an environment where you feel safe, supported, encouraged, challenged, uplifted, validated, understood, and empowered. There is hope that things will get better and I would love to help you on your journey of self-improvement and healing.

About Me

Faith is an important component of Rachel’s life, and she is an active member of her church body. “Nothing in my life would have been possible without God’s intervention and hand on my life, and I am eternally grateful for His love and grace.” Rachel has lead several women’s groups at her church. These groups have ranged in topic from finding freedom and healing through Christ, to dating as a Christian, preparing for marriage, how to become more biblically literate and better interpret scripture, and studies through various books of the Bible. Rachel has also been serving in the kids ministry at her church for the last 8 years, as she has a strong passion and heart for working with kids. In her free time she loves staying active, being outdoors, spending time with friends/family, eating good food, and enjoying the company of her two cats.
