Rusty Simon LPCC-S
Rusty received his Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Education from Lee University in Cleveland, TN. He earned an MDiv and then a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary. He is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a supervisor designation.
Rusty has experience working with a variety of ages and populations. He has served churches and religious organizations and has received training in CBT, DBT, NMT, Narrative Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. He uses these approaches in his practice and supervision. Rusty specializes in helping clients who struggle with ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety disorders and PTSD.
APPROACH TO COUNSELING
Rusty is strength-based in his approach, helping clients discover and build on their competencies. He believes there are ways to find hope, even during the most difficult times. Rusty believes in meeting individuals and families where they are at and helping them achieve their goals.
