Sandra Vo MA, LPCC
Sandra received her Master’s degree in Clinical Pastoral Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary in Ashland Ohio. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
Sandra has extensive experience working with children and adolescents through residential treatment facilities, intensive home base treatment, and outpatient services. She has regularly provided individual and family counseling. She also has experience conducting group counseling and marital therapy. Trainings and skills include: Trauma Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, Conflict Resolution and Mediation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Relaxation Techniques. Sandra has also worked with adults in a variety of settings including Christian private practices. She has experience dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, high functioning autism, ADHD, ODD, and Bipolar disorders.
APPROACH TO COUNSELING
Sandra believes in strength based treatment where everyone has a set of talents and strengths that can be utilized in the process of emotional healing. She takes an eclectic approach to mental health treatment, drawing on a variety of techniques and resources. Sandra is committed to helping others improve their quality of life.
