Nicole Newsome LPCC-S

Nicole’s Heart for Counseling:

Approach therapy mainly from a motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral approach. Focus on strengths of the client. Believe in coming alongside the client in a collaborative approach to meeting their desired goals.

Nicole’s Style:

My style in counseling is a heavily strength-based approach, specifically using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy and Mindfulness. I am also trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

I also believe that overall wellness not only stems from our mental health, but our physical, spiritual and emotional health as well! If faith is something that is important to you, I would love to in cooperate that into sessions to the extent that you are comfortable with.
