Meet Sam Pogrelski
Sam Pogorelski is an independently licensed counseling supervisor who received his Bachelors in Youth Ministry and his Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Malone University. Sam has been providing community mental health services in Southeastern Ohio for over 10 years. The past 6 years he has served as a counselor in various roles, including school-based counselor, office-based counselor, crisis pre-screener, and clinical supervisor.
Sam's Style
I believe that, as a counselor, I have the extreme privilege of helping people to paint the mural of their life. I do not believe that I automatically know what is best for you, but I look forward to helping you figure out what is best for you and your life. I am passionate about working with teens and young adults but have worked with individuals of all ages. I incorporate a variety of techniques into my practice including: expressive arts, mindfulness, humor, and guided meditation.
Heart for Counseling
We all face different challenges physically, mentally, and spiritually. My heart as a counselor is to come alongside my clients as they journey to discover the truth about who they are and their abilities to use skills to overcome life obstacles. I invite clients to come as they are to join me in a safe and judgement free space as we work together to achieve goals, find personal strengths, and become more confident in who they are as a person.
