Gillian’s Heart for Counseling:

I believe that knowing the truth about ourselves, others, and the world can free us to live fully and be our healthiest selves. Through an open and trusting relationship with a therapist, people can feel safe to be real, be known, and be understood. From that place of understanding we can work together to help you align the truth with your life to reach your goals. I approach clients with intentionality and empathy and view us as a team, and I believe that together we can make progress towards any goal.

Gillian’s Style:

In sessions, Gillian utilizes a strengths-based approach with clients to help them approach their concerns from a place of self-awareness, self-value and worth. You are the expert on you and your experience, and you can expect a calm and collaborative partner in therapy.

Gillian works with all ages, primarily using Cognitive-Behavioral therapy and Narrative therapy. She also enjoys having conversations about faith and spirituality in relation to client goals, and incorporates this into sessions for any clients who request this as part of counseling.
